Trending Cliches is a sort of vanity project I came up with after I retired in 2025. I’ve long been fascinated and often, well, disgusted is too strong a term, but I’m definitely judgmental about writers who glom onto a phrase du jour. So I thought it would be fun to document the rise and fall of phrases that become instant cliches, and let others join in if they want.
